Developed as part of the implementation of VU's Staff Integrity Framework, the proposed suite modernises and consolidates the University's approach to preventing, detecting and responding to fraud and corruption, and managing disclosures of suspected wrongdoing and whistleblower matters. Key changes include:
• a streamlined independent reporting pathway for suspected fraud, corruption and other improper conduct;
• clearer governance, oversight, escalation and reporting arrangements;
• strengthened whistleblower reporting and support arrangements;
• strengthened alignment with legislative and regulatory obligations; and
• enhanced fraud and corruption prevention, detection, reporting and assurance mechanisms.
