Key changes include:

1. A simplification of language with greater clarity on processes for all parties.

2. Addition of a referring office to the Safety & Triage (SAT) Team Chair, via a designated Senior Officer role.

3. The composition of the SAT Team changed to six members with a quorum of four members added.

4. Definition added for the Chair of the SAT Team, appointing the Director of Student Services as Chair (as is current practice).

5. Updated definition of suspension with provision that any access to University services to facilitate remote study is at the absolute discretion of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Students).

6. Revisions throughout to update organisational roles as a result of organisational changes (e.g. Dean of Students now Pro Vice-Chancellor Students).

7. Revisions throughout the Regulations to update references to other University Regulations or Procedures (e.g. Student Appeals Regulations 2019) recently approved.
