Minor changes in August 2016 due to Annual Reporting (see background to changes below).  Clauses Amended: 48, 49


The change made streamlines the reporting obligation for Centres and Institutes. At the present time, Centres and Institutes effectively report on performance twice a year via two separate mechanisms (the annual report  and the annual performance, planning and budget review processes). What is reflected in the change to policy and procedures is for the annual Centre and Institute performance reporting captured through the new planning and budget process to be consolidated into a report to the Research and Research Training Committee by the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research and Research Training). Individual annual reports to RRTC are no longer required.


This change to University Research Institutes and University Research Centres Policy and Procedure was presented to and endorsed by the Research and Research Training Committee at its 17 August 2016 meeting. The change takes immediate effect.
