This Policy defines 'volunteering' as distinct from work which should be paid and sets out the rights and responsibilities of volunteers, and Victoria University's responsibilities to volunteers.

Previously, this Policy was managed via the Central Policy Register. Its history pre-September 2014 can be found in the archive of that system. This Policy came into force with an Operational Date of 10 June 2014.
