Summary of Changes from Previous Version

2/4/20:  Accountable Officer updated to Chief of Staff (previously Vice-President, Planning & Registrar).


10/4/19: Key changes include:

. A simplification of language and removal of duplication of sections between the Regulation and Procedure.

. A reorganisation of the procedures to reflect the steps to be undertaken by a student from lodgement of an appeal to final decision.

. Removal of 'admissions' as an appealable decision.

. The inclusion of references to relevant sections of the Higher Education Standards Framework and Education Services for Overseas Students standards.

This Procedure was approved by Council along with the Student Appeals Regulations 2019 on 12 March 2019.
