Summary of Changes from Previous Version

Key Changes include:

. Simplification of language.

. Inclusion of the recording, monitoring and report of Student Misconduct Matters to governance committees.

. Increase of Senior Officers' powers to suspend a student from 1 month to 3 months for general misconduct matters.

. Authorised Officers can issue a 'direction of non contact' for a specified period.

. Reduction from 10 to 5 University business days' notice to students of the investigation meeting.

These Regulations replaced the Student Misconduct Regulations 2014.
