Summary of Changes from Previous Version

Since the publication of the Student Equity and Social Inclusion Policy in 2015, advances have occurred in how to understand social injustice, and how to promote inclusion and accessibility. This has coincided with changes in nomenclature. To improve the currency of the Policy, the revised Student Equity and Social Inclusion Policy introduces definitions for accessibility, all-gender, community, gender affirmation, intersectionality, social justice and universal design.
