17/6/25: The Enrolments Policy and Procedure have been reviewed and procedures related to student enrolment, course duration limits, VET Unique Student Identifier (USI) requirements, debt remission, SLE re-crediting and post-census enrolment amendments have been consolidated within the one Enrolments Procedure.

The change aims to simplify and standardise academic processes, creating a more efficient, consistent, and user-friendly experience for both students and staff.

In addition, the Procedure:

• Reflects 1VU with HE and TAFE incorporated within the one document;

• Incorporates the identification and management of AWOL (Absent Without Leave) students;

• Realigns to the block model, replacing the previous semester-based structure;

• Removes NES (National Education Standards) Legislative requirements, which are no longer applicable.

Consequently, the following Policy and Procedure are disestablished:

• Remission of Debt and Post-Census Amendment of Enrolment Policy

• Remission of Debt and Post Census Amendment of Enrolment Procedure

• Enrolments - Maximum Course Duration (HE) Procedure

• Enrolments - VET Unique Student Identifier (USI) Management Procedure
