Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This Policy provides for the fair and prompt handling of complaints by members of the public about any aspect of the University, its staff, students or operations.

25/8/17 Clause (24) b. – ‘Privacy Commissioner’ amended to ‘Victorian Information Commissioner’ as advised by Compliance. (Background – from 1 September 2017, the Office of the Commissioner for Privacy and Data Protection (CPDP) and the Office of the Freedom of Information Commissioner will be combined, creating the new Office of the Victorian Information Commissioner (OVIC)).
