This is the first version of the Animal Welfare Complaints Procedure to be uploaded to the Policy Library. Previously, this procedure was managed via the Central Policy Register system (disestablished September 2014). This Procedure came into force with an Operational Date of 5 June 2014.

7/11/14 The Procedure was amended to reflect a position title change from Director Legal Governance and Risk to Director, Portfolio of the Vice Chancellor.

As a consequence of the approval of the VU Research Model, this Policy will be reviewed and may be changed to reflect the new approach to managing and supporting research and research training at Victoria University from 1 January 2018. This Policy review will be completed by December 2017. It is advisable to check with the Responsible Officer before using the current version of the Policy for 2018 matters.
