1/7/19 Title update – Biosafety Manager changed to Manager, Biosafety and Infrastructure.

The purpose of this Procedure is to ensure appropriate investigation and management of any adverse and non-compliant incident in accordance with the relevant codes, regulations and standards governing Biosafety.

As a consequence of the approval of the VU Research Model, this Policy will be reviewed and may be changed to reflect the new approach to managing and supporting research and research training at Victoria University from 1 January 2018. This Policy review will be completed by December 2017. It is advisable to check with the Responsible Officer before using the current version of the Policy for 2018 matters.
