This Policy outlines the requirements of Higher Degree by Research (HDR) stipend and fee offset scholarships at Victoria University (VU) funded by the Australian Commonwealth Government Research Training Program (RTP).  (Required by the Commonwealth by 30 June.)

As a consequence of the approval of the VU Research Model, this Policy will be reviewed and may be changed to reflect the new approach to managing and supporting research and research training at Victoria University from 1 January 2018. This Policy review will be completed by December 2017. It is advisable to check with the Responsible Officer before using the current version of the Policy for 2018 matters.
