12/5/25: Update to link (clause 41), and update to the latest VU policy template. 6/10/22: Updated references to Department of Education, Skills and Employment to Department of Education. 24/11/17: The Procedure was developed out of work done by the Credit Policy working group. It represents a current, complete and accurate statement of the processes that must be followed in establishing, monitoring and discontinuing dual and joint award arrangements. Before presenting the Procedure to Academic Board, extensive stakeholder consultation was undertaken to ensure that all views were captured in the final documents. Following Academic Board, some further wording refinements were made on the advice of Senior Lawyer, Cameron Murrell, who is the University's legal adviser for all such agreements.
