This is the version of this policy and procedures carried across from the discontinued Central Policy Register (disestablished September 2014). This policy is under review. This Policy came into force with an Operational Date of 30 March 2012.

As a consequence of the approval of the VU Research Model, this Policy will be reviewed and may be changed to reflect the new approach to managing and supporting research and research training at Victoria University from 1 January 2018. This Policy review will be completed by December 2017. It is advisable to check with the Responsible Officer before using the current version of the Policy for 2018 matters.
