Summary of Changes from Previous Version

3/4/19:  An update was made to clauses 14, 15 and definitions to replace references to ‘Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander’ to ‘Aboriginal’.


14/8/18:This Policy has been redeveloped to comply with VU's new policy style, and has been rewritten in plain, accessible language. Content now designated as procedural has been excised, and will be covered in the redrafted Procedure in due course (this includes: direction regarding the composition of selection panels; and prescription of the components of the recruitment and selection process). The redrafted Policy has elevated the role of diversity and inclusion in recruitment, and emphasises the University's commitment to attracting the best possible talent to fulfill its strategic aims.
