Summary of Changes from Previous Version
The Student Alcohol and Other Drugs Policy and Procedure was updated into two standalone documents:
1.the ‘Student Alcohol and Other Drugs Policy’
2.the ‘Student Alcohol and Other Drugs Procedure’.
These documents outline VU’s commitment to provide students with a safe and healthy learning environment, and what actions VU will undertake as part of this commitment. They also align with regulatory requirements, define authorised activities, clarify what is meant by a drug/substance (including e-cigarettes, over the counter medication), and harm- minimisation.
