Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This Procedure has been updated to include;
• Publication authorship " no apportionment between authors
• Base points for the Book category to increase from 4 to 5, consistent with ERA
• Collaboration weightings " international currently rewarded, extend to include reward for national collaborations (no need to recognise internal collaborations given decision not to apportion publications between authors)
• Include top decile incentive measure alongside top quartile, to further advance citations performance
• Include incentive to publish in open access
• Outputs in predatory publishing outlets will not be recognised for MORA
• Cap point accrual for multiple authored book chapters in a single book
• Create a single VU journal ranking list
• All named investigators, regardless of title (e.g. Mentor Investigator), to be recognised for MORA points
